This class is about fusion born of the temptations of the morning souk..glistenning
aubergines to wobble home atop your shopping basket, of walking to the community
oven with your tray of butterflied sardines..of swoonings pouring rose water
into meringues..of sitting upon the terrace at day's end, threading fish
kebabs for the barbeque..
"Cooking in a Village Kitchen"
classes for one to four guests for one day..
This class is traditional and wonderful..riding into the earth built village
far off the tourist trail, upon your mule, with its baskets laden with all
you bought at the village souk, assembling tajines, rolling the couscous,
kneading the bread, all of which is cooked over the kitchen fires while
you roam the mountains and the gorges with a little lolling by the river..
"Cooking with the Aunts"
three days in the family village for two to four guests
This class is again traditional with the opportunity to also explore the
region, sit at the looms of the aunts and immerse yourself in the daily
life centred around the gathering and preparation of glorious, bountiful
food..
All the classes are about the celebration of food..of chosing feasts together
and shopping for the preparation of something wonderous .. of changing forever,
how you will stand before your stoves!
